The Certina DS Action Chrono C048.417.11.051.00, introduced in 2026, is a quartz chronograph housed in a 42.00 mm case manufactured in 316L stainless steel. Case height measures 13.78 mm, with a lug width of 21.00 mm. The bezel is executed in 316L stainless steel with an aluminium insert and features Super-LumiNova markings. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on one side. Water resistance is rated at 300 metres.
The model incorporates Certina’s DS Concept, consisting of five structural elements: sapphire crystal, O-ring gasket on the stem, two O-ring gaskets in the crown, a specific gasket on the case back, and a reinforced case back.
The dial is black with luminous elements using Super-LumiNova. Chronograph indications include 1/10th of a second and 1/100th of a second timing in real time. An end-of-life indicator signals battery depletion.
The watch is powered by the quartz calibre ETA G10.212 with Precidrive technology. It features central hours, minutes, and seconds, along with chronograph functionality.
The DS Action Chrono C048.417.11.051.00 is fitted with a 316L stainless steel bracelet equipped with a quick-release system and a 316L stainless steel buckle. The approximate net weight is 195 grams.
