The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW3249-11 debuted in 2026 as a gem-set addition to the Ingenieur Automatic 35 collection. It combines the Gérald Genta-derived Ingenieur design in a 35 mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet, a silver-plated dial, and a bezel in 18-carat 5N gold set with 45 white diamonds weighing a total of 0.7 carats. Its stainless steel case measures 35 mm in diameter and 9.4 mm in thickness. The case retains the characteristic Ingenieur design elements, including the bezel secured by five functional screws and the integrated bracelet attaching via its middle links. Satin-finished and polished surfaces are used across the case and bezel, while water resistance is rated to 10 bar. The watch is fitted with a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides and a transparent sapphire case back. The dial is silver-plated and features the characteristic “Grid” pattern with applied metal markers. The hands and appliques are gold-plated and filled with Super-LumiNova. The display consists of central hours, minutes, hacking seconds, and a date aperture. Inside is the calibre 47110, an automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 23 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement is finished with circular graining and Geneva stripes and features a gold-plated oscillating weight. The watch is fitted with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with polished middle links and a butterfly folding clasp
