The Longines Master Collection Moonphase Year of the Horse Edition L2.919.4.09.2 debuted in 2025 as a limited edition of 2,026 pieces created to commemorate the Year of the Horse. The watch is part of the Longines Master Collection and is housed in a round stainless-steel case measuring 42.00 millimetres in diameter and 11.20 millimetres in thickness. The case features a lug-to-lug length of 49.70 millimetres and a lug width of 21 millimetres. It is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a transparent case back with sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated at 3 bar. The stated weight of the watch head is 92.0 grams.
The dial is executed in a sunray red gradient finish specific to this edition. The display presents hours, minutes, and seconds, and incorporates a moonphase complication. The date is indicated by a small hand positioned at six o’clock, integrated into the lower portion of the dial layout.
Powering the watch is the Longines calibre L899, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring. The movement operates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of up to 72 hours. The calibre supports the display of hours, minutes, seconds, moonphase, and date, in line with the Master Collection Moonphase configuration.
