The NOMOS Ahoi neomatik 38 date 525 debuted in 2025 as a 38.5mm automatic sports watch with a large date, combining the Ahoi line’s screw-down construction and elevated water resistance with the DUW 6101 movement.
Its stainless steel case measures 38.5mm in diameter, 9.9mm in height, and 48.7mm lug to lug. It is secured with six screws, fitted with a screw-down crown and crown guard, and water-resistant to 20 atm. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides is paired with a sapphire crystal case back.
The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with rectangular hour markers and a large date set toward the outer edge. The markers are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands feature light blue luminous inlays. A red seconds hand adds contrast, and the gold “neomatik” text marks the movement generation.
Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an automatic in-house caliber measuring 33.0mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 42 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. Its date ring is arranged around the movement, allowing the large date display while keeping the caliber relatively thin.
This reference is fitted on a blue-black woven textile strap with a 20mm lug width and a square stainless steel winged clasp.
