The NOMOS Tangente gold neomatik 161 debuted in 2025 as a 35mm automatic Tangente executed in 18 kt gold. Within the Tangente line, it combines the collection’s straight lugs, narrow bezel, and graphic dial layout with the ultra-thin DUW 3001 automatic calibre in a compact precious-metal case. Its case is crafted in 18 kt gold and measures 35.0mm in diameter, 6.9mm in height, and 43.0mm lug to lug. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side and a sapphire crystal case back. Water resistance is rated to 3 atm. The straight case sides and angled lugs remain consistent with the established Tangente design. The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with Arabic numerals, minute markers, and a recessed small-seconds register. Tempered blue steel hands complete the display, preserving the standard Tangente neomatik layout in a gold case. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 3001, an automatic in-house movement measuring 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, with 37 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. The calibre is equipped with the NOMOS swing system and was developed to allow automatic watches to retain a notably slim profile. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with an 18mm lug width.
