The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 38 Update 147.U6 debuted in 2026 as a one-of-a-kind Twice Unique execution in the Drift collection, based on the regular Tangente neomatik 38 Update in stainless steel. Within the Twice Unique format, each design is created as an inseparable pair in stainless steel and 18 kt gold, with five models per collection. In Drift, Tangente neomatik 38 Update is one of those five models, its dial reworked with a finely grained surface and a smoky blue gradient. Its case is executed in stainless steel and follows the Tangente neomatik 38 Update proportions, measuring 38.5mm in diameter, 7.4mm in height, and 47.3mm lug to lug. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side and is water-resistant to 5 atm. The straight case, angled lugs, and slim automatic profile remain unchanged from the underlying model. The dial is specific to the Drift collection. Light-primed brass dial blanks were worked by hand with a die to create a finely grained structure, then given a smoky blue gradient finish. In this series, the typography of each model is retained. On Tangente neomatik 38 Update, the numerals, indexes, and NOMOS logo are rendered in gold, while the hands are finished to match the case material. The sub-seconds register is integrated into the main dial surface rather than set apart from it, and the ring-date display remains in place around the dial periphery. Inside is the NOMOS DUW 6101, an automatic in-house movement measuring 34.0mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height, with 42 jewels and a power reserve of up to 50 hours. DUW 6101 incorporates NOMOS’ ring-date mechanism and remains the base calibre for Tangente neomatik 38 Update. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan remborde strap with a 19mm lug width.
