The Tissot Visodate T157.407.11.051.00 debuted in 2026 as part of the renewed Visodate collection, re-establishing a model family first launched in 1954. Like the other references introduced alongside it, this watch preserves the central characteristics associated with the Visodate name, including the emphasis on an integrated date display, a domed dial, and relatively restrained proportions intended for everyday wear.
Its stainless steel case measures 39mm and is fitted with a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. The rear side of the case includes a transparent case back showing the automatic movement. This reference is delivered on a stainless steel grains-of-rice bracelet.
The dial is black and textured, with a domed shape and a combination of circular and vertical brushing that creates tonal variation across the surface. The display is arranged with applied indexes, dauphine hands, and a framed date aperture at 3 o’clock. Super-LumiNova on the hands supports readability in low-light conditions. Compared to the silver-dial strap version and the blue bracelet model, this reference presents the most subdued execution in the new series.
The movement is caliber C07.611, an automatic Powermatic 80 movement offering a power reserve of up to 80 hours. It is fitted with a Nivachron balance spring, intended to enhance resistance to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations over time.
