The ZENITH DEFY Skyline Skeleton 49.9309.3620/85.I001 debuted in 2025 as the third and final edition in the “Surfer Trilogy” created in collaboration with Time+Tide. Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, this version brings a fresh summer look to ZENITH’s openworked DEFY line, combining a white ceramic case with a striking gradient blue skeleton dial. The watch features a 41mm brushed white ceramic case with an integrated ceramic bracelet, offering high scratch resistance and a lightweight feel suited for daily wear. A screw-down crown and water resistance to 100 meters make it ready for days on the sand and in the surf. The dial reveals ZENITH’s distinctive star-shaped skeleton bridges, finished in a gradient blue that fades from dark to light, echoing the colors of ocean surf and sky. Super-LumiNova accents highlight the star motif at night—a nod to the original Night Surfer editions. Time is displayed through central hours and minutes hands, with a 1/10th of a second hand driven directly by the high-frequency escapement. Power comes from the automatic El Primero 3620 SK, beating at 5 Hz (36,000 VpH) with a hacking seconds mechanism and an approximate power reserve of 55 hours. A sapphire case back shows the star-shaped rotor and matching blue-finished bridges. The watch is delivered with both an integrated white ceramic bracelet and a white patterned rubber strap. The quick strap-change system allows tool-free swaps to suit any adventure.
