The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Le Petit Prince IW3894-10 debuted in 2026 as the first Le Petit Prince edition in white ceramic, bringing that long-running IWC theme into a markedly lighter and more material-driven version of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41. In this reference, the collection’s familiar chronograph layout is paired with a white zirconium oxide ceramic case and a deep blue dial with sunburst finish and gradient effect, creating a sharper contrast than on earlier blue-dial Le Petit Prince models. The case measures 41.9 mm in diameter and 15.5 mm in height and is made from white zirconium oxide ceramic. IWC describes this material as lighter and harder than steel, with a smooth, velvety surface, making it distinct both visually and tactically from the brand’s steel and titanium Pilot’s Watches. The crown, pushers, and case back are executed in titanium, and the case back is engraved with the Little Prince. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar and fitted with a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. In addition, the construction includes a soft-iron inner case for magnetic field protection and a crystal secured against displacement by drops in air pressure, both of which maintain continuity with the functional logic of the Pilot’s Watch line. The dial is executed in deep blue with a sunburst finish and a visible gradient effect, continuing one of the defining traits of IWC’s Le Petit Prince editions. Against that dial, the bold indices and numerals are printed in white, while the hour and minute hands and the subdial hands are rhodium-plated and filled with Super-LumiNova. The chronograph layout follows IWC’s familiar vertical organisation, with the stopped minutes displayed at 12 o’clock and the stopped hours at 9 o’clock, a configuration intended to improve legibility during timing use. The watch also includes a day and date display, together with small hacking seconds. Inside is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69381, an automatic chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 46 hours. Built around a classic column-wheel chronograph design, it is intended to measure elapsed times of up to 12 hours, with the chronograph indications arranged in the collection’s characteristic vertical display format. The movement uses a bidirectional pawl-winding system to build its power reserve and is described by IWC as engineered with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and precision. The watch is fitted with a white rubber strap equipped with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system, allowing it to be removed or replaced at the push of a button. In this configuration, the strap reinforces the contrast between the white ceramic exterior and the dark blue dial while keeping the overall presentation more contemporary than traditional leather-strap Le Petit Prince editions. The result is a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 that retains the functional architecture and display logic of the line, but distinguishes itself through its ceramic case material, high-contrast colour scheme, and edition-specific Le Petit Prince details.
