The Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT M7939G1A0NRU-0003 debuted in 2024 as a five-link bracelet variant of the Black Bay 58 GMT, adding a new bracelet option to the existing 39mm GMT model. The underlying watch remains the same compact Black Bay 58 GMT introduced earlier, with its 39mm case, black and burgundy 24-hour bezel, and integrated GMT movement, while this reference is defined specifically by the adoption of the five-row bracelet. Its stainless steel case measures 39mm in diameter, 12.8mm in thickness, and 47.8mm lug to lug, with polished and satin-brushed finishes throughout. The bezel is bidirectional and fitted with a black and burgundy anodised aluminium insert bearing a gilt 24-hour scale. The screw-down crown sits flush to the middle case band and is signed with the Tudor rose in relief. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres, and the watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal. The dial is black and domed, with gilt applied hour markers and the characteristic Black Bay handset. The addition of a 24-hour hand and a date display at 3 o’clock gives the watch a more functionally dense layout than the time-only Black Bay 58, while the black-and-burgundy bezel and gilt accents establish the visual identity specific to the GMT version. The overall display remains compact and legible, in keeping with the proportions of the Black Bay 58 case. Inside is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U, a self-winding mechanical movement with 34 jewels, bidirectional winding, and a METAS-certified 65-hour power reserve. It displays central jumping local hours, a 24-hour hand, central minutes and seconds, and an instantaneous date at 3 o’clock synchronised with the jumping hour hand. The movement is both COSC-certified and certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, with resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and a daily precision tolerance of 0/+5 seconds under METAS testing criteria. This reference is fitted with a five-link stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin finishes and a Tudor T-fit clasp. That bracelet is the defining feature of this version. Compared with the rivet-style bracelet previously associated with the model, the five-link construction gives the watch a smoother and more articulated profile, while also shifting the overall presentation slightly in the direction of refinement rather than vintage evocation.
